Katriona received her B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Western Australia, specialising in Exercise and Health Science. Her postgraduate honours thesis examined the effect of exercise time of day on acute energy intake in healthy men.

In April 2014, Katriona joined the CET. She currently manages the Expert Reviewer database for the Transplant Library and the Transplant Trial Watch at CET. She is currently also working on her first systematic review looking at the quality of Clinical Practice Guidelines in Kidney Transplantation using the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Education (AGREE) II tool.
