The MRC Centre for Transplantation at King’s College London is running another two-day course “Frontiers in Transplantation: Clinical Excellence Through Innovation” held at New Hunt’s House at KCL Guy’s Campus in London on 3-4 September 2012. This two-day course for scientists and clinicians interested in translational transplantation biology with a focus on Cell Therapy to Modulate the Immune System and State of the Art in Liver Transplantation.

The next Evidence in Transplantation Course (EVIT) will be held in London on March 16-17. The joint CET and ESOT course, now in it’s fourth year, have received excellent reviews from past participants, and aims to increase skills in evidence-based decision making. It includes sessions on clinical trial design and interpretation, literature searching, literature appraisal, systematic review and meta-analysis.

The MRC centre for transplantation are running a 2 day course entitled “Frontiers in Transplantation: Clinical Excellence Through Innovation” in London on the 8-9 September 2011. This two-day course is for Medical and Surgical trainees, Transplant Physicians, Surgeons or nurses, allied health professionals and scientists interested in translational transplantation biology.
The course will cover recent developments in basic transplantation immunology alongside the latest cutting-edge clinical research, with an emphasis on the ‘bench-to-bedside’ strategies being pursued within the MRC Centre for Transplantation at Guy’s Hospital and King’s College London. There will be a number of distinguished speakers to speak on exciting and important areas in translational transplantation biology.

The third Evidence in Transplantation (EVIT) course in collaboration with ESOT was held in London on the 18th-19th March 2011. Participants came from all over Europe and further afield to listen to lectures and take part in workshops on trial design and appraisal, literature searching and systematic review. The third Evidence in Transplantation (EVIT) course will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London, UK on the 18th and 19th March 2011.
This highly successful course aims to teach the principles of evidence-based transplant surgery, including clinical trial design, literature searching and appraisal and systematic reviews.

The second Evidence in Transplantation (EVIT) Course will be held March 12-13, 2010. This ESOT course is organised by the Centre for Evidence in Transplantation and the Clinical Effectiveness Unit, The Royal College of Surgeons of England – London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
The course aims to teach the principles of good clinical trials design, literature searching and systematic review.
