Prophylaxis for tuberculosis

A systematic review of the use of prophylaxis against TB in high risk renal transplant recipients both in the developing and the developed world has been completed and submitted for publication. Although the evidence available suggests that prophylaxis with Isoniazid if of value to patients at risk it is by no means robust and there is a need for further trials in areas where TB is endemic.
