Munib Mesinovic is a postdoc at the University of Oxford pursuing research in Engineering Science with the EPSRC CDT in Health Data Science. He is based in the Computational Health Informatics (CHI) Lab where he is supervised by Professor Tingting Zhu and Professor Peter Watkinson.

He has previously completed his Masters in Computer Science at Oxford where his thesis on applications of deep learning to CRISPR design in genetic engineering attained a distinction. Munib completed his undergraduate studies at NYU Abu Dhabi after which he was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.

Munib is collaborating with the CET team on the AID-KT project, investigating the role of AI clinical decision support tools in kidney transplantation.
