Participants
138 ICU nurses.

CET Conclusions
This low quality Chinese trial report presents the impact of a ‘Theory of Planned Behaviour’ based education programme on attitude and behaviour changes regarding the promotion of organ donation in ICU nurses. Nurses in the control group were given a brochure on the promotion of organ donation. The experimental group also followed an education programme which consisted of videos on organ donation and perspectives from both the recipients and donor families with the aim to promote a positive attitude towards organ donation. Effect of training was measured using a questionnaire for which not much detail was provided in the paper, however the data presented indicate that the experimental education programme was successful in significantly changing the nurses’ attitudes and behaviour intentions regarding organ donation up to 2 months after the education programme.
