EVIT: Evidence in Transplantation – Register today!

Do you want to increase your skills in evidence-based decision making? Sign up to the EVIT course which will be held 21 & 22 March, 2014 at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London.

The two-day course is aimed at young professionals actively involved in organ and tissue transplantation who want to increase their skills in evidence-based decision-making.

Course Content

The course consists of lectures and small group sessions. It will cover clinical research methods needed to study the effectiveness of therapeutic procedures in organ transplantation, including:

  • Clinical trial design and interpretation
  • Literature searching
  • Literature appraisal
  • Systematic review and meta-analysis

Date and venue

The sixth EVIT course will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons of Englang in London on the 21st and 22nd March 2014.

Registration

The Course is open to members and non-members of the European Society for Organ Transplantation. To apply for a place on this course, please go to the ESOT website. Registration will open on September 7, 2013.

Registration fee is:

  • ESOT Members: € 390
  • Non ESOT Members & Industry: € 600

The registration fee includes:

  • Meeting facilities
  • Meals according to the programme
  • Networking evenings
  • Course material (i.e. syllabus)
  • Certificate of attendance
  • ESOT credits valid for EACCME and UEMS

Arrival on Thursday evening will be essential.
