ACADEMIA – a new course from ESOT, Vienna May 2018

The European Society in Organ Transplantation and the Centre for Evidence in Transplantation have teamed up to create a new course for future leaders in transplantation.  Replacing the Evidence in Transplantation (EVIT) course and European Transplant Fellows Workshop (ETFW), this new course aims to teach:

  • Academic skills – research, critical appraisal, evidence based medicine, systematic review, literature searching, basic statistics
  • Presentation and communication skills – paper writing, presenting
  • Leadership skills

The course will comprise 4 days of state of-the-art lectures, case discussions, short presentations by the attendees and keynote lectures, interactive lessons and working groups.

The course will run in Vienna between 9th and 12th May 2018.  For more information and registration, visit the ESOT website.
