We are looking for a Research Associate to work at the Peter Morris Centre for Evidence in Transplantation, based at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
You will be working closely with the co-directors of the Centre and will be responsible for keeping the online Transplant Library up to date and accurate, and composing the Transplant Trial Watch, which is a monthly overview of 10 recent trials.
With training gained in an appropriate health-related discipline, you have demonstrable working knowledge of literature searching and interpreting research studies. Responsible for regularly reviewing and critically appraising research articles, the role of Research Associate will also see you carrying out literature searches using evidence based methodologies whilst making use of the most appropriate sources. Proficiency in reference management software (e.g. EndNote), excellent information science skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong IT skills, excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners both within and outside the Centre are essential.
This full-time post is available from 1 February 2019 and is fixed-term until 31 January 2020 in the first instance.
